As per the rules of the University the House Examinations of the college are held in the month of December every year. This Examination is compulsory for all the students and on the basis of these examinations only the students are permitted to appear in the University examination. In the month of Sept. and Oct. two monthly tests are also conducted by the examination branch of the college.
Condition required for appearing in University Examinations
1. 75% lecture attendance (separately in theory and Practical examination) is required to become eligible to appear in the annual examination conducted by the University
2. an aggregate of 25% marks or 20% marks in each subject is required to become eligible to appear in the annual examination conducted by the University.
3.The new students of Ist year i.e. Entry level of all classes are registered in the college by Registrar House Examinations of the college as per the rules laid down by the M.D. University Rohtak. A Registration No. is allotted to each students and Registration Cards are allotted accordingly.
4.The Registrar House Examinations looks after the process of Internal Assessment of Under Graduate and Post Graduate classes. House Examination Branch maintains the record of Internal Assessment of the students and the internal Assessment is submitted to the Principal through the registrar, House Examination.10% of the maximum marks in each paper in undergraduate courses have been assigned to House Examinations to be for Internal Assessment. 5% weightage have been assigned to House Examinations to be conducted by the college. 5% weightage is given for regularity in attending lectures and tutorials.
That the credit for regularity in each paper based on attendance shall be as follows:
More than 65% but less than 70% -----1 Mark
70% or more but less than 75% -----2 Marks
75% or more but less than 80% -----3 marks
80% or more but less than 85% ----- 4 marks
85% and above ----- 5 marks
For Post Graduate classes the procedure of award of Internal Assessment will be as under :
Two class tests of 5 marks each. The class tests will be held in the Ist half of December i.e. before winter break and Ist half of March i.e. Total Marks =5+5 = 10 marks.
Assignment/ Term paper & presentation 5 Marks
Attendance 5 marks
65% to 75% 1 mark
76% to 85% 2 marks
86% to 90% 3 marks
91% to 95% 4 marks
Above 95% 5 marks
