Eligibility




Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or an equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate recognized by the University. (Pass marks for S.C students) 

1.Master of Arts (M.A.) in HINDI, ENGLISH, Political Science and Economics.
A Person who has passes one of the following examination shall be eligible to join the first (Part -1) class of Master of Arts (M.A.) course (except Master of Physical Education, Mass Communication):
i)   B.A./ B.Sc./bv.Com (Hons.) examination in the subject of Post-graduate course.
ii)   B.A./ B.Sc./bv.Com(Hons.) in a subject other than the subject of Post-Graduate course with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
iii)      1st Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or 45% marks in the subject of P.G. Course in which the candidate wishes to seek admission.
iv)      Shastri Examination (New scheme of three years duration) of this University in the manner prescribed in (i) and (ii) above.
Provided that:-
a)       A candidate who has passed B.Com examination with at least 45% marks in the subject(s)/ paper (s) related to Economics in including Statistics shall be eligible to take up M.A., Economics course.
b)       A candidate who has passed B.Sc. (Agriculture) with Agricultural Economics as one of the subject/ paper shall be eligible to join M.A Economics course.
c)       A candidate who has passed B.A. examination with at least 45% marks in Public Administration or Sociology shall also be eligible to take up M.A Political Science.
d)      A candidate getting at least 55% marks in Hindi (Compulsory) subject may also be considered eligible for admission to M.A. Hindi.
e)       A candidate who has passed B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit with at least 45% marks or B.A. Examination with at least 45% marks in Sanskrit (Elective) may also be considered eligible to take up M.A (Hindi) if the candidates who have passed B.A. (Hons.) Hindi or B.A with Hindi (Elective) obtaining 45% marks are not available.
f)       A candidate who has passed B.A. Examination with History or in any other subject listed in the Faculty of Sciences (i.e. Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, Geography, Psychology etc.) obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject shall be eligible to take up M.A. History.
g)       A candidate who has studied the subject of Sanskrit at B.A level whether elective or compulsory for a full span of three years shall be eligible to seek admission to have studied Sanskrit compulsory should be 55% in the subject.
h)      The B.A. degree obtaining through English only etc. shall be considered for admission to M.A to various subjects at per with B.A. degree.

ELIGIBLITY CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO UNDER-GRADUATE CLASSES:

1.       B.A.-1/B.Com.-1 (10+2+3) No one shall be eligible to join the first year (Part-1) class of B.A.I / B.Com. Unless:
i)        He/She has passed on of the following examination with 33% marks in aggregate for admission to B.A. Part-1, 40% for admission to B.Com Part-1, 50% for B.B.A. (Pass marks for S.C. students)
a)  Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) of  Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani.
b)  B.A.1 Examination under old scheme of this University. 
c)  Diploma in Pharmacy Course (B.A.1 only)

d)  Any other Examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to (a) or (b) or (c). 
1.  No one shall be eligible to join the second year (Part-II) class of B.A./B.Com             course unless he/she has passed.
                                    OR
b)  B.A./B/Com. Part-II examination, as the case may be under old scheme of this University.
                                    OR
c)       Any other examination recognized by this university as equivalent to a) or b) above.
2.       A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join 3rd year (i.e. Part III) class of B.A./B.Com. course.
a)       B.A./B.com Part-II examination, as the case may be under new scheme of this University. 
                                      OR
b)       B.A./B.Com. Part-II examination as the case3 may be under new scheme of the other Statutory Universities. Provided that the subject offered for B.A./B.com Part-II were the same as are available at this University and the syllabus were not materially different.
In case the subject(s) offered for the B.A./B.Com. Part-II were not the same as are available at this University, the candidates may be given exemption in the Part-II for the subject(s)/ paper (s) already studied /passed by the student in the subject(s)/paper(s) which the candidate has not studed/passed in Part-I & II shall have to be studied/passed alongwith remaining subject(s) paper(s) of part-III. 
Provided that if a candidates who join Part-1 of B.A./B.Com as the case may be must have obtained at least 33%, 40% marks respectively in the aggregate (by adding minimum qualifying marks in the compartmental subject) in the Senior Secondary Certificate (+2) examination or an examination recognized equivalent there to.
a)       B.A./B.Com. Part-1 examination, as the case may be under new scheme of this University.
